About Winston-Salem Comprehensive Treatment Center in Winston-Salem, NC Winston-Salem Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to adults age 18 and older of all genders who are struggling with opioid addiction. Through decades of work, researchers have found that the use of MAT is both safe and effective in helping people who are addicted to opioids experience better outcomes. While some methadone clinics offer one medication to help reduce the detrimental effects of withdrawal, our Winston-Salem center uses both methadone and buprenorphine.
