Description
Dr. Khan-Farooqi graduated from Stanford University with honors and a BS in Biological Sciences and a minor in Political Science. Dr. Khan-Farooqi worked in a cancer biology research laboratory at Stanford for two years after graduation. His project focused on the role of stem cells and growth factors in protecting the body’s normal tissues from injury during cancer treatment. Dr. Khan-Farooqi attended Stanford Medical School, graduating with an MD in 2000, and found his calling in orthopaedic surgery, particularly in the care of fractures and their after effects.
