Dr. Mariam Shakir Azeem, provider of cardiology care, joins Dr. Paul Kelly, Dr. Rebecca Scandrett, Dr. Michael Malinics, Dr. Kevin Kett, and Dr. Joseph Gnanaraj at Franklin Medical Group Cardiology. Dr. Azeem received her medical degree from Aga Khan University Medical College in Pakistan. In 2014, she completed her internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Azeem is board certified in internal medicine and echocardiography. Her clinical interests include womenâs health, preventative cardiology, heart failure and population health management. She looks forward to serving new patients from Greater Waterbury and surrounding towns.
