SJVC Rancho Cordova is committed to the personal, academic, and professional success of all its students in Respiratory Therapy and Surgical Technology. We focus on career training and education and have a dedicated Career Services staff that is focused on finding students career opportunities when they graduate. Our campus provides opportunities to develop critical thinking, career skills, and professionalism all in a classroom setting. Our programs incorporate hands-on assignments and projects which are vital for vocational-based learning. Students receive additional training via a simulation laboratory that is designed to provide hands-on application and develop skill mastery for clinical experience. Both programs have tremendous support from the healthcare community. The Respiratory Therapy program is supported by a clinical network of 40 hospitals and medical centers. Our faculty is comprised of experienced teachers who know how to engage students with individualized, personal instruction.
