About Byron Financial Services In 1984, Byron Bank purchased Ives Insurance Agency, an established property and casualty agency, as another service Byron Bank could offer their customers. The agency became known as Byron Bank Financial Services and began offering annuities and securities. The property and insurance division was sold in 1989 and is still in business today as Byron Insurance Agency. Byron Bank Financial Services saw growth and success throughout the years thanks to long time employees Gene Hartzell, Chris Martin, Erma Young, and Dan Leonard. In 2002, the Oregon office was added and in 2011, the name changed to Byron Financial Services. Steve Scholl joined the team in 2018 and Sean Considine in 2019.
